LAHORE: The newly-appointed Director General Intelligence Bureau (IB), Aftab Sultan, called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani at the Prime Minister's House here on Sunday.

During the meeting, the IB DG thanked the premier for reposing confidence in him.

Aftab Sultan said that he would make all out efforts to come up to expectations of the government in discharging his duties as IB DG.

Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khan Khosa was also present during the meeting.
