KARACHI: Gold moved up by Rs214 to close at Rs46,671 per 10 grams in the local market on Saturday, as its international price improved to $1,643 an ounce, market sources said.

According to the Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also surged by Rs300 to Rs54,400.

Silver closed unchanged at Rs900 per 10 grams.
