ISTANBUL: The Turkish Treasury sold a net 1.438 billion lira ($496 million) in a tap of a five-year benchmark bond on Tuesday at a compound yield of 9.32 percent, data showed, slightly below a Reuters poll forecast of 9.33 percent.
Nominal bids for the bond, which matures on Feb. 17, 2021, amounted to 2.442 billion lira.
