HONG KONG: Hong Kong shares were set for a stronger open on Wednesday, led by several Chinese large-caps as the benchmark Hang Seng Index rebounds from Monday's worst single-day loss since Aug. 9.
The Hang Seng Index was set to open up 0.98 percent at 19,216.29. The China Enterprises Index was indicated to start up 1.15 percent at 10,082.89.
