Governor, Federal Minister appeal for flood victims
KARACHI: Sindh Governor Dr.Ishratul Ebad and Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik have isued a joint appeal to the philanthropists and NGOs to contribute towards relief fund for rain affectees of the Sindh province.
This appeal was made by them after meeting here at Governor House on Monday.
In the meeting they reviewed the situation in rain affected districts of interior Sindh.
The Interior minister briefed the Governor about the data collected by the Crisis Management Cell about losses caused by rains.
The Governor appreciated the efforts being made for rescue and relief by different goernment departments in the affected areas.
They also issued directives to DCOs and DPOs to provide relief goods to the affectees under Prime Minister Relief Programme.
