ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz on Thursday moved and adjournment motion in the National Assembly seeking a debate in the house over increase in power tariff at the Rs2.4 per unit.

The members of the Assembly said that increase in the tariff has caused a wave of resentment among the public, so, it should be discussed in the house.

The members include Rana Tanvir Hussain, Engineer Khurram Dastgir Khan, Saira Afzal Tarrar, Ch. Mehmood Bashir Virk, Muhammad Naseer Bhutta, Rana Mahmood-ul-Hassan, Chaudhry Saud Majeed, Muhammad Jameel Malik, Murtaza Javed Abbasi and Dr Nelson Azee.
