factoryMADRID: Spain's calendar-adjusted industrial output fell 2.8 percent year-on-year in July, data from the National Statistics Institute showed on Thursday, below forecasts for a drop of 1.6 percent.

In June output dropped 1.9 percent, revised up from a preliminary reading of 2 percent.
