firdous-ashiq-awanOSLO: Federal Minister for Information & Broadcasting Dr. Firdos Ashiq Awan arrived here on a three-day visit to Norway.

She was received by the Charge d' Affairs and other officials of Embassy of Pakistan in Oslo and members of Pakistani Community.

During her visit, the Minister is scheduled to receive an International Award (Bridge Builders Award) on behalf of Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, awarded to him in recognition of his services for democracy.

The Minister will also meet high officials of Norwegian government and members of Pakistani Community. She will meet Vice President of Norwegian parliament as well as with CEO of Telenor and Le bara companies.

She will also visit Utoya to pay tributes and offer condolences to those killed in the recent shooting incident there.
