KARACHI: Federal Information Minister Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan says rehabilitation of rain and flood affected people in the country was priority of the government.
"We are here to express solidarity with rain and flood affectees of Sindh," she told newsmen Tuesday at Bilawal House media cell. She said Federal government in collaboration with Sindh government will extend support and ensure all relief measures in rain hit areas.
Answering a question, Dr Firdous said present PPP leadership would continue its reconciliation policy and maintain socio-economic stability in the country.
"The government is answerable to the people who are real judges about our performance." Minister said Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority PEMRA would be made further strong.
Sindh Information Minister, Sharjeel Memon and PPP leaders were also present.
