Babar Awan ISLAMABAD: Former Law Minister Babar Awan Saturday said the measures taken up by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain for stability of institutions were quite appreciable.

Addressing a joint press conference after the leaders of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) met in the federal capital, Altaf Hussain played a positive role for Karachi peace.
Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan said President Asif Ali Zardari and MQM Chief Altaf Hussain gave boost to reconciliation.
Ebad said the government would not allow anyone to disrupt Karachi peace at any cost.
