Pakistan mulls importing agro technology from China
KARACHI: Chief Executive Trade Development Authority (TDAP) Tariq Iqbal Puri has held a meeting with the head of Economic and Development Commission of Urumqi, Ma Chun Lei and discussed the possibilities of transfer of latest Chinese agro based technology to Pakistani companies.
Puri, who returned to Pakistan after the successful visit of Kashgar and Urumqi, China had held meetings with Chairman of China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Xinjiang, Wang Ke Lin, and Deputy Director of Xinjiang - Eurasia Expo Secretariat, Chen Ji to discuss issues of bilateral trade.
He has apprised Chen Ji about the upcoming visit of President of Pakistan at Eurasia Expo Urumqi and TDAP's plan to set up a Pakistan Pavilion of 1000 square meters to showcase the best Pakistani products along with a presentation of Pakistani cultural and gastronomic heritage.
Puri CE TDAP invited him to visit Pakistan during Expo Pakistan (20-23 October 2011), at Karach.
