SYDNEY: The Australian dollar hit a three-week high on Thursday after a closely watched survey showed activity in China's factory sector in July expanded at its fastest pace in 18 months.
The Aussie rose as high as $0.9480, from around $0.9440 just before the survey was released. It was last at $0.9470, up 0.2 percent on the day.
