Shahi Syed discusses Karachi situation with Malik
ISLAMABAD: Awami National Party Sindh President Shahi Syed discussed Karachi law and order situation with Interior Minister Rehman Malik here on Wednesday.
Shahi Syed, who called on Rehman Malik, said operation should be launched against criminals in Karachi without any discrimination, even if they belonged to his party.
He said peaceful Karachi would be helpful in moving forward democratic and political process in the country.
He also sought the help of Interior Minister in solving KESC issue and review fake FIRs registered in Karachi, said a press release.
Malik said the government was taking all possible steps to improve law and order situation in Karachi.
He also appreciated supportive role of ANP President Asfandyar Wali for improving security situation in the economic hub of country.
Malik called on all political parties to play their role in improving over-all security situation in the country.
