NOSHEHRA VIRKAN: The budget for the year 2011-12 is a balanced document, reflective of public aspirations.
MNA Ch Tassaduq Masood Khan said this in a telephonic conversation with APP on Saturday.
He said that increase in salaries and pensions despite the financial crunch is praiseworthy step by the government.
He was of the view that opposition's protest during the budget speech of the federal finance minister was against the democratic norms. "The coalition partners’ support for the budget policy of the government is admirable and it also reflects their confidence on the policies of the government."
He stressed the need to bring all the eligible persons into the tax net to strengthen the economy.
Ch Tassaduq said that PML-N's protest stance shows desperation of the party due to growing popularity of the government.
