MULTAN: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Saturday laid the foundation-stone of Musa Pak Shaheed bridge in Multan's tehsil Jalalpur Pirwala, that will reduce a 50 kilometre distance between Lahore and Karachi.
The project is part of the series of ongoing development program by Prime Minister Gilani for the under-privileged areas in Southern Punjab.
The bridge with a 50 year life, will cost Rs 1.62 billion while the dual carriage way along the bridge will cost Rs 3 billion.
Prime Minister will also inaugurate the project of clean drinking water costing 100 million in the slums of Jalalpur Pirwala.
