Federal government earmarks Rs744.343mn for Ports & Shipping

port qasimISLAMABAD: The federal government has allocated Rs744.343 million for various projects of the Ministry of Ports and Shipping in the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2011- 12.

The allocated amount will be spent on the three on-going projects of the Ministry.

Some Rs27 million have been earmarked for Gwadar Port Civic Center, Gwadar, Rs700 million for construction of Eastbay Expressway to link Gwadar Port with national road link and Rs17.343 million for the stock assessment survey programme in EEZ of Pakistan through chartering of fisheries research vessel and capacity building of MFD, Karachi (Ports and Shipping).
