NEW YORK: The euro took a hit against the U.S. dollar on Tuesday after a German Parliament member told business newspaper Handelsblatt that Greece should leave the euro zone.
The euro pared gains to $1.4373, still up 0.7 percent, from about $1.4405 previously.
