solarKARACHI: A partial solar eclipse will occur between the nights of June 1 and 2.

This was stated by an official of Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) here on Monday.

" It will not be visible from Pakistan as it will be night in Pakistan and the adjoining areas", it was further stated.

The partial eclipse will begin at 000.25 hours PST on June 2 and will end at 03.07 house PST. The total duration will be two hours and 42 minutes.

The eclipse will be visible from northern polar region including Alaska, Northern Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Western Serbia, Northern China, North Korea and Japan, a SUPARCO statement said.
