PM to chair DCC meeting today evening
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yosuf Raza Gilani is chairing the meeting of Defence Committee of Cabinet today evening, to discuss and review security situation in the country.
The Prime Minister is expected to return to Islamabad this evening after concluding his two-day visit to Karachi.
Before return, he will also be visiting Nawabshah this afternoon to condole the demise of father of President Asif Ali Zardari.
The DCC meeting is important in the backdrop of recent terrorist attack at the PNS Mehran in Karachi and the US operation in Abbottabad in a hunt for Osama bin Laden.
The meeting will be attended by three services chiefs and ministers for defence, interior, information and broadcasting and the finance.
