State BankKARACHI: Pakistan's budget for 2011/12 fiscal year has been delayed till the first week of June, a finance ministry official said on Saturday.

The budget was due to be announced on May 28.

The official did not give any reasons for the delay. He said no date had yet been fixed, but it was likely to be announced in the first week of next month.
