Indus RiverISLAMABAD: The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Saturday released 265,815 cusecs water from various rim stations against the inflow of 370,795 cusecs.

According to the data released by IRSA here, the maximum water level in River Indus at Tarbela was 1425.25 feet which was 47.25 feet above its dead level of 1378 feet.

Water inflow in the dam was 159,500 cusecs while the outflow was 90,000 cusecs.

The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 147,277, 106,085 and 588,815 cusecs respectively.

The water level in River Jhelum at Mangla was 1149.60 feet which was 109.60 feet above its dead level of 1040.00 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water in the dam was recorded as 80,480 cusecs and 45,000 cusecs, respectively.

Similarly, from River Kabul a total of 70,800 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 60,015 cusecs released from River Chenab at Marala.
