NEW YORK: The dollar fell against the euro and trimmed gains against the yen on Thursday after news of a slump in an index of business conditions in the US Mid-Atlantic region and a fall in existing home sales in April.
The euro rose as high as $1.4282 after the data from $1.4268 just before. Against the yen, the dollar fell to 81.82 yen from 82.03 before the data.
