Apropos a news item “Government takes over troubled bank,” carried by www.brecorder.com on May 16, 2011, it is clarified that although the news content relates to that of Dubai Bank, the image of Dubai Islamic Bank has been erroneously used with this item. Dubai Bank and Dubai Islamic Bank are separate entities and have been wrongly mixed up as one organisation. The error is deeply regretted.
