LONDON: Europe's main stock markets ended down on Monday with London's FTSE 100 index of leading shares finishing off 0.04 percent at 5,923.69 points.
In Frankfurt the DAX slid 0.21 percent to 7,387.54 points while in Paris the CAC 40 fell 0.72 percent to 3,989.82 points.
