KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Works and Services Manzoor Hussain Wassan has said that the present government was endeavoring to provide job opportunities to the unemployed with a view to eliminate unemployment.
This he said while talking to a delegation of youths which called on him at his Camp Office here on Saturday.
He called upon the younger generation to come forward to extend their help and assistance in rooting out the menace of terrorism, extremism and `bhatta' (extortion) from the society.
Wassan urged them to divert their attention towards acquiring knowledge for getting higher education besides participating in extra curriculum activities.
He said that promotion of quality education is the top priority of the Sindh Government by establishing more primary schools in order to promote education in every nook and corner of the province.
The Minister said that the government is planning to initiate a number of schemes for the betterment of the youths as they are our national asset.
