ISLAMABAD: Economist Mirza Ikhtiar Baig said on Thursday France is a big market for Pakistani goods, especially textile products.
He said talking to a Private News Channel that Prime Minister Gilani is paying a timely visit to France, which will provide good opportunities to the country for enhancing trade with France.
He added France has built submarines for Pakistan Navy and private sectors of both the countries will contact each other after formation of business council, for which a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed by private sectors of both the countries.
He said Pakistani government is trying to focus on economic issues and Osama's death will convey positive message to investors, as leader of a terror network has been killed.
