President to approve PPP-PML-Q alliance modalities: Firdous

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said on Sunday that the PPP and the PML-Q had reached an understanting for a national government.

Talking to the state television, Firdous said that President Asif Ali Zardari after consultations with party leaders and parliamentarians would finally give approval to the modalities for the alliance between the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q).

She said that the PPP-PML-Q alliance would be for long term and it would lay a new foundation for political harmony in the country.
