Thatta close down as people protest against faulty house count

THATTA:-On the call of Sindhi Nationalists parties, complete strike was observed to protest against the faulty house count, here on Saturday. Entire business and trade activity, petrol pumps, garages, markets and shops remained closed till afternoon hours.

Traffic on roads was thin.Activists of nationalists parties including Awami Tahreek and Sindhiani Tahreek came out on roads and raised slogans against the ongoing census process.

They demanded cancellation of the census. Strike was also observed in other towns and villages of the district.
