President condemns attack on Navy bus

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday strongly condemned the bomb attack at a Pakistan Navy staff bus that killed and injured civilian and navy personnel.

The President said the nation and the country remain determined to counter threats from the terrorists and vowed not to be deterred by such acts.

President Zardari also expressed his deep sorrow and grief over the deaths of the civilian and the navy personnel and prayed to Allah Almighty to shower his blessings, and to grant courage to their families and loved ones to bear the loss with equanimity.

He also directed best possible treatment to the injured.
