ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party Senator Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari said that self-reliance and use of own resources will bring economic stability in the country.
Talking to Radio Pakistan, he said Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Shaheed and Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed are symbols of federation and their ideologies are still alive in hearts of people.
He added President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani by following reconciliation policy of the PPP succeeded in approving 18th amendment from the parliament.
Senator Bukhari said it is result of reconciliation policy of the PPP that democratic institutions are working in the country.
He added the government has completed three years and masses will decide through ballot regarding future government after two years.
To a question, he said government is trying to achieve objective of economic stability and self-reliance by reducing expenditures and by using country resources.
He added many countries of the world are facing economic problems but it is result of policies of the PPP government that Pakistan is not facing shortage of food instead it is exporting wheat. He hoped PPP government will succeed in resolving energy crisis soon.
