SHANGHAI: Chinese shares fell 0.35 percent in early trade Friday with coal miners and financial stocks leading declines on profit-taking, dealers said.
The Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A and B shares, was down 10.63 points at 3,016.04.
The Shanghai A-share index shed 0.35 percent, or 11.17 points, to 3,157.91, while the Shenzhen A-share index lost 0.38 percent, or 5.04 points, to 1,336.60.
