ISLAMABAD: Chief Minister of Balochistan Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani called on President Asif Ali Zardari here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Thursday.
Matters relating to law and order, political situation and developmental projects in the province were discussed in the meeting.
The President also inquired about the progress on providing electricity to many tube-wells in Balochistan that were lying idle without power supply.
Few months back, the President had directed the ministries of Water and Power and Finance and the Government of Balochistan to address on priority basis the issue of power supply to tube-wells in the province.
The Chief Minister briefed the President on the status of law and order, political situation and development activities in the province and the steps taken for the provision of power supply to idle tube wells in Balochistan.
