Pak Refinery reports profit

KARACHI: Pakistan Refinery Ltd (PRL) has posted a profit after tax of Rs 47.041 million for the nine months ending March 31, 2010 compared to a loss of Rs 1.805 billion same period last year.

According to financial results of the company despatched to Karachi Stock Exchange here Wednesday, the company earned a profit before tax of Rs 359.072 million for the period under review compared to a loss before tax of Rs 1.149 billion same period last year.

The earning per share stood at Rs 1.34 compared to a loss per share of Rs 51.58 in corresponding period last year.
