KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Monday at 20,888.05 points with a positive change of 268.26 and volume of 243,009,800 shares. High and Low were 20,982.55 and 20,631.93 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 24 were up, 6 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 466,079,440 shares. Total companies traded were 412 of which 295 were positive, 98 were negative and 19 were unchanged.

Commercial Banks was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 80,351,300 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 61,818,600 shares.

The top three advancers were Unilever Pakistan Food Limited with a volume of 40 and price per share of 7,000 (283.00), Pakistan Tobacco Company Limited with a volume of 80 and price per share of 2,498.50 (99.00), Colgate Palmolive (Pakistan) Ltd with a volume of 240 and price per share of 1,999 (82.74).

The top three decliners were Rafhan Maize Products Company Limited with a volume of 100 and price per share of 6,940 (-360.00), Nestle Pakistan Limited with a volume of 420 and price per share of 6,276.25 (-300.00), Bata Pakistan Limited with a volume of 4,780 and price per share of 1,800.97 (-30.73).
