Pakistan young leg spinner Shadab Khan is all praises for his teammate Hasan Ali, as he appreciated his hitting ability after the fast bowler's blistering knock of fifty.

“He is a good hitter and he hits sixes a lot in the practice sessions as well as in domestic cricket,” Shadab said while talking to media.

Speaking about the conditions offered in New Zealand, Shadab said that the bounce friendly conditions have not supported him in his bowling but he has enjoyed batting their. “It has been difficult bowling wise to bowl their but batting wise it is good because I like pace and bounce,” he said.

Regarding his role as a batsman, Shadab said that his role is to support his partner at the other end and play the entire inning.

Pakistan expected to make two major changes for third ODI

Shadab, alongside teammate Hasan, provided a late fight back by Pakistan, as the duo hit consecutive fifties to drive Pakistan to 246 at the loss of nine wickets in the second One Day International (ODI) against Black Caps.

With the series 2-0 in favour of Kiwis, the leggie was optimistic that Pakistan would perform well in the must win game. Pakistan would play the third ODI of the series on January 13 at Dunedin.
