Samsung’s latest Notebook 9 series to contain exciting features

With last year’s Samsung Notebook 9 being a bit simple, Samsung refurbished it this time with its all new Samsung Notebook 9 (2018) lineup with three novel devices.

In early 2017, the company added a 360-degree folding hinge to its Pro edition, making it a laptop-cum-tablet along with a stylus. Now, in the upcoming year, the company will smarten up its lineup with the new ‘Notebook 9 Pen’ along with two other new devices.

The Notebook 9 Pen will take on Microsoft’s Surface devices with its built-in battery-free S Pen stylus along with a ‘thoughtfully designed’ 2-in-1 hybrid laptop/hybrid. The device is 13-inch and weighs only 2.2 pounds because of its Metal12 magnesium-aluminum alloy. The device comes in with 8th generation Intel Core i7 CPU, 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.

Samsung’s new battery technology charges phones in 12 minutes

The two other new Notebook 9 laptops have a similar appearance and feel. They are either 13.3-inch or 15-inch sizes and can include 1TB storage with the same CPU and RAM options as the 9 Pen. The 15-inch laptop comes in with an option for discrete graphics and a Thunderbolt port. All the three laptops have fingerprint scanners with Windows Hello support, but the 9 Pen also includes IR scanning for facial recognition, reported Engadget.

The devices are among the thinnest of their class and lighter than most metal laptops that makes them easily portable. The Windows Hello and the fingerprint scanning will make the laptops more secure and safe. They also feature the Privacy Folder for storing sensitive data. The RealView display in the devices will make display having life like colors and amazing brightness, perfect for indoors and outdoors.

The laptops are quick enough to handle tasks like using multiple programs or rendering high-quality graphic without any reduction in its performance. Through Samsung Link Sharing, the user can easily share data to other devices and with Samsung Messages, users can send messages from their PCs to the contacts on smartphones. Voice Note can be used for easy note taking whereas, the Studio Plus feature could be used for custom creation and editing. All of these features come pre-installed on the device.

More details would be revealed at the Consumer Electronic Show event that will take place in January where the devices would be displayed, reported Tech Crunch.
