Pakistan senior middle order batsman Shoaib Malik, showcased his good form at the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), where he scored an unbeaten 54 to take his side to victory on Monday.

Malik, who was representing the Comilla Victorians scored his 45th T20 fifty, as he hit a sensible knock of 54 off 53 deliveries, featuring four boundaries and a six to take his side across the line against the Dhaka Dynamites.

Malik, a specialist in the game shortest format was especially cautious against veterans, he was 5 off 14 balls from Sunil Narine and 6 off 10 balls from Mohammad Amir, taking newbie Mohammad Saddam, to his liking scoring 26 off 14 balls.

Meanwhile, Malik went on to surpass West Indian Dwayne Smith in list of most T20 career runs, Malik now sits with 7295, 6th on the list lead by West Indian blaster Chris Gayle.

Earlier, another Pakistani star Hasan Ali was impressive with the ball, after he dismissed the Dhaka Dynamites batting line for 128, claiming career’s first five-wicket haul in T20 cricket.

Hasan, who was awarded the Man of the Match award for his performance, became only the second bowler in T20 cricket after Bangladesh’s Rubel Hossain to claim five batsmen bowled in a match.
