KARACHI: As many as 164 members of Sindh Assembly out of 176 took part in polling held here on Friday for 10 seats of the upper house of Parliament.
Three members including former chief minister Arbab Ghulam Rahim did not cast their votes.
Eight candidates contested for seven general seats with three candidates for two seats reserved for women and two for one seat reserved for minorities.
Hafeez Sheikh and Barrister Farogh Naseem have been elected unopposed on two seats reserved for technocrats.
The polling was held from 9.00 a.m to 4.00 p.m at Committee Room No-1 of Sindh Assembly building.
