Chief of his own faction JUI-F, Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that we have failed to make the country stable, adding that our foreign policy remained weak and Pakistan has become the proxy war centre. Talking to the media on eve of his visit to international gathering ground in Naushera, Maulana said the international gathering is being held in connection with hundred years' ceremonies of Jamiat.
He said that the foreigners want to impose their education system to keep Muslims away from Islam. Islam is being described wrongly in the world under an agenda and there is a need for national solidarity, for which this gathering is being organised. It' a need for collective approach for Muslims to unite. Demanding the reformulation of foreign policy, he said Pakistan is in isolation even after 70 years of independence the best way to get rid of this isolation is to revise the existing foreign policy and international interests should be taken into account.
Fazlur Rehman said that Pakistan could not get advantages of its Geographic value for the past 70 years and failed to increase its GDP more than 5 percent.
