CORPORATE EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2022: Messages from Miftah Ismail Former Federal Finance Minister of Revenue & Economic Affairs

TEXT: It gives me immense pleasure to know that the Management Association of Pakistan (MAP) is holding its 37th Corporate Excellence Awards on October 3, 2022 to recognize and appreciate management excellence in companies.

MAP, with its vision to lead the change process towards best management practices and its mission to commit to excellence in management through human capital development, creating awareness and recognizing best management practices to enhance competitiveness can indeed be exemplified in its

tradition of organizing its Corporate Excellence Award every year since 1982.

It is a matter of great satisfaction that, over the years, MAP’s Corporate Excellence Award has come to be acclaimed as the ultimate recognition of management excellence in practice. The evaluation process is extremely transparent, and only those companies which are able to prove their distinction get through to the top. MAP’s efforts in this regard must be commended and reinforced by the industry as well.

The challenges that the management had to face during the pandemic COVID-19 and, with today’s economy, the companies need to follow the best management practices and achieve excellence in their corporate culture, so as to give their best results and be more competitive. I congratulate the winners of the 37th Corporate Excellence Awards and Certificates for their excellent accomplishments on this occasion and hope they will keep up with their excellent work and keep inspiring others.

I hope that MAP will continue to make a significant impact on promoting corporate excellence by regularly holding such events.
