PML-N holds rally against blasphemous cartoons

Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) strongly condemned the publication of a blasphemous cartoons in Denmark and other European countries during a protest rally held here on Monday.
Former President of Pakistan Rafique Tarrar, PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique, PML-N General Secretary Punjab, Zaeem Qadri and other local PML-N leaders led the protest outside the Lahore Press Club, which later turned in to a rally.
During the rally, clash took place between the protestors and the police, and later they were permitted to hold the rally outside the Lahore Press Club.
While addressing the protestors, the PML-N leaders condemned the publication and said that it has hurt the sentiments of over a billion of Muslims in the world.
They averred that the present regime was dancing on the tune of the Jewish lobby, but they should realise that their days in power was numbered.
They appealed to the Muslims all over the world to come out and resist the evil designs of the West. They demanded closure of foreign embassies that were involved in the publication of the blasphemous cartoon and the government should immediately break bilateral relations with them. They also demanded for an emergency meeting of OIC countries to draw a line of action on the matter.
The leaders criticised the government for taking ineffective action on the serious matter that humiliated the religion. They warned that if the government failed to act quickly then the PML-N would hold protests all over the country.
