The farming community of Pakistan has hailed the decision of the Government of Pakistan to allow duty-free import of 10,000 tractors for early delivery to the farmers and to fill the gap between supply and demand of tractors.
The local tractor manufacturing companies could not produce more that 40,000 tractors per annum, whereas the market has grown up to 60,000 tractors per annum.
