For all flip phones lovers, Motorola is making a comeback of its iconic flip phone, the Motorola RAZR, but with a foldable display and also with a hefty price tag.

According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, smartphone manufacturer Motorola will bring back its classic Motorola RAZR flip phone that was initially released in 2004, but instead of a flip screen, the phone will feature a foldable phone along with a price tag of $1,500.

Motorola RAZR’s 2019 model is due to an exclusive partnership new Motorola’s parent company Lenovo and Verizon. The phone will only have 200,000 units made and might arrive as soon as February. The $1,500 price is over double the $600 price of the original 2004 Motorola RAZR.

CES 2019: Chinese firm beats Samsung in unveiling first ever foldable phone

The 2019 RAZR phone will probably have a display that can bend at the middle with the help of a hinge to allow it to fully close, but not crease. The display technology is likely to be an OLED one. Unfortunately, further details are not really known since the phone has not yet been officially announced, reported Business Insider.

Foldable displays have taken the smartphone industry with a storm with almost every firm working towards its own foldable smartphone. Moreover, old classic smartphones have already made a comeback in the present including Nokia’s legendary 3310 and 8110.
