Four transgender persons to contest elections from Ayesha Gulalai’s party
Four transgender persons will be contesting elections from Ayesha Gulalai's newly formed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Gulalai.
Speaking to the media on Sunday, the former member of Imran Khan's PTI announced that she would field four transgenders in the upcoming elections against rival opponents. Gulalai added that she would be contesting in the election from six constituencies.
"I will stand against Imran in Rawalpindi," she announced. Gulalai and her newly-formed party are all set to contest the upcoming polls The general elections are scheduled to be held on July 25.

Last year, Gulalai accused PTI Chairman Khan and leveled serious allegations of moral turpitude against him. “Women are not given due respect in the party. Their self respect is threatened by the party chairman.”
She further said that Khan adopted bad habits from United Kingdom and he did not know anything about respect of women. “Imran has double character. He is actually trying to promote western immoral culture in Pakistan.”Later she had announced that she was forming her own party.
