Spain consumer prices rise 1.1pc y/y in February, in line with forecasts

Spanish European Union-harmonised prices rose 1.2 percent from a year earlier, also in line with a preliminary reading.

Core inflation, which strips out volatile food and energy prices, was 1.1 percent year on year, compared to a reading of 0.8 percent a month earlier.
