ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz will hold a public meeting in Peshawar on February 4 and a social media convention in Gujranwala on February 2 to gain support of people for the next general elections to be held in July this year.

President PML-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ameer Muqam has intensified his activities to ensure success of the public meeting in Peshawar and has been contacting and speaking to party supporters urging them to attend the meeting.

According to the party’s top leadership, PML-N is expecting to show a good result in the next elections on the basis of its performance, infrastructure development, improvement in security situation and for ending electricity shortages.

The party is optimistic that it will again form government at the federal level and in Punjab, whose Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has completed a large number of projects in the fields of education and health, improved transport facilities in cities and built a huge network of roads across the province.

People have recognized the party’s efforts by voting for its candidates in the recently held bye elections in different constituencies. In the recent by election in Chakwal the party secured more votes as compared to its candidate’s tally in the last general election.
