LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 32.05 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 4089.57 and closed at 4121.62 points.
The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 2.241 million shares to close against previous turnover of 3.258 million shares, showing a downward slide of 1.017 million shares. While, out of the total 107 active scrips, 31 moved up, 19 shed values and 57 remained equal.
Chashma Sugar Mills Limited, Fauji Fertilizer Company and Nishat (Chunian) Limited were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Re. 1.00, Re. 0.95 and Re. 0.94 respectively.
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Engro Corporation Limited and Kot Addu Power Company lost their per share value by Rs. 1.05, Re. 0.50 and Re. 0.27 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included Fauji Cement Company Limited with 582,000 shares, Lotte Pakistan PTA Limited with 213,000 shares and Silk Bank Limited (Saudi) with 162,000 shares.
