LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 14.39 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 3948.82 and closed at 3963.21 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 4.235 million shares to close against previous turnover of 3.587 million shares, showing an upward slide of 648,100 shares.
While, out of the total 99 active scrips, 32 moved up, 15 shed values and 52 remained equal.
Attock Refinery Limited, Pakistan State Oil Company Limited and Engro Foods Limited were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 7.20, Rs 3.94 and Rs 3.80 respectively.
Lucky Cement Limited, Poineer Cement Limited and D.G. Khan Cement Company lost their per share value by Rs 1.66, Rs 0.60 and Rs 0.60 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included Fauji Cement Company Limited with 931,500 shares, NIB Bank Limited with 542,500 shares and The Bank of Punjab Limited with 537,000 shares.
