ISLAMABAD: The prices of most of the fruits and vegetable is decreased in the weekly bazaars of Islamabad, however tomato price has registered increase.
According to rate list issued by Capital Development Authority Directorate of Municipal Administration, the prices of vegetable, tomato prices have been increased. The current price of tomato is Rs 55 per kg, potato is being sold at Rs 80 to Rs 164 per five kg, onion Rs 204 per five kg, lemon Rs 200 per kg, lady finger Rs 44 per kg, brinjal Rs 14 per kg, cauliflower Rs 30 per kg, cabbage Rs 20 per kg, green pepper Rs 92 per kg, green chilli Rs 70 per kg, black eye beans Rs 40 per kg, turnip Rs 35 per kg, spinach Rs 16 per kg, cucumber Rs46 per kg, peas Rs 150 per kg, bitter gourd Rs 40 per kg, radish Rs 20 per kg and carrot available at Rs 26.
According to rate list, apples being available at Rs 40 to 80 per kg, banana Rs 25 to Rs 50 per dozen, guavas are available at Rs 50, grapes Rs. 100 to 180 per kg and dates Rs. 100 to 200 per kg.
