LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Friday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 3.26 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 4144.27 and closed at 4147.53 points.
The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 3.465 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.375 million shares, showing a downward slide of 1.090 million shares. While, out of the total 89 active scrips, 23 moved up, 45 remained equal and 21 shed values.
Oil and Gas Development Corporation Limited, Attock Refinary Limited and Nishat Mills Limited were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 3.94, Rs 1.40 and Re 0.99 respectively.
Habib Bank Limited, Ghani Glass Limited and Fauji Fertilizer Company lost their per share value by Rs 3.00, Rs 2.76 and Rs 1.17 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included Fauji Cement Company Limited with 399,000, NIB Bank Limited 388,000 and Lafarge Pakistan Cement with 226,000 shares.
